Our Services

Our Services

New Beginnings Community Center provides outpatient rehabilitation and structured programming, along with residential (inpatient) care through our housing program, supporting individuals at every stage of neurological recovery.

Our services are designed for what happens after traditional rehabilitation ends, when continued structure, consistency, and coordinated care become essential.

How Our Services Work Together

Recovery is not driven by a single therapy.

It is supported through coordinated care, daily structure, and ongoing reinforcement over time.

At New Beginnings, services are integrated into a consistent program that helps individuals maintain progress and continue improving.

Evaluation & Care Planning

Each individual begins with a comprehensive evaluation to assess current abilities, needs, and recovery goals.

This allows us to:

  • Assess cognitive, physical, and functional status
  • Identify short- and long-term goals
  • Develop a structured care plan

Plans are continuously adjusted as needs evolve.

Therapy Services

We provide coordinated rehabilitation therapies as part of a structured program:

  • Cognitive therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Speech therapy
  • Occupational therapy

Therapies are delivered consistently to reinforce progress and reduce regression over time.

Structured Day Program

A core component of our approach is daily structure.

Our program includes:

  • Routine-based schedules
  • Guided therapeutic activities
  • Supervised engagement in a safe environment
  • Ongoing reinforcement of recovery goals

This consistency supports continued progress, improved independence, and long-term stability.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is offered as part of a coordinated recovery program, not as a standalone service.

It is integrated with therapy, structured programming, and long-term care planning to support neurological recovery.

Family Support & Education

Recovery affects both individuals and their families.

We provide:

  • Ongoing guidance and support
  • Education on long-term recovery
  • Monthly support groups (first Wednesday of each month)

Who We Serve

Our programs support individuals with:

  • Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
  • Stroke recovery needs
  • Cognitive impairments
  • Physical disabilities
  • Dementia-related conditions

We also provide specialized support for veterans.

Complex Medical Needs

New Beginnings supports individuals with advanced neurological conditions and complex care needs.

This includes:

  • Individuals requiring ventilator support
  • Severe brain injury and disorders of consciousness
  • Long-term recovery needs beyond acute care

Our team works closely with families and medical providers to determine appropriate services and level of care.

Where This Fits in Care

New Beginnings focuses on the stage of recovery that often follows hospital discharge and traditional rehabilitation.

Our programs provide the continuation of care that helps individuals maintain progress and continue moving forward.
